My dog was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis of the liver and I was told by his consultant that he would need to move onto a hepatic diet. She said that it was important to introduce this food a tiny bit at a time over a period of weeks so that he would accept it because it does not taste good. Well, on the first day my boy Tommy, who's 11, wolfed it down, he absolutely loves it. He will eat the hepatic biscuits too, but he definitely loves and prefers the wet food. He's been on this diet almost a month now. No problems with this food at all.

Our vet warned us that food for liver support is unpalatable and we may have problems persuading him to eat it. We decided to try Royal Canin and he LOVES IT!! He wolfs it down, and I have to be careful that the cat doesn't get near it, as she seems to love it too! Can't recommend it more highly. It's quite sticky in consistency, but ideal for putting drugs in, as they stick to it and he eats them without realising it. Thank you, Royal Canin, for a great product.

My 15.5 year old Border Terrier has been on this food, combined with the dried variety of Royal Canin Hepatic for some while now since being diagnosed with liver disease. Its got great consistency, is easily digested and best of all he absolutely loves it ! I've never seen him so excited when he sees the tin in my hand !!
