Hills Prescription Diet SD Urinary Care Dry Food for Adult Cats is a complete and balanced diet for the nutritional management of cats with urinary tract diseases.

Often caused by the formation of mineral-based crystals and stones forming in the urine, a urinary tract disease can be incredibly uncomfortable, cause bloody urine and can even cause a life-threatening obstruction.

Using Hills S/D promotes a healthy urine pH level to discourage the formation of these crystals and stones, and helps eliminate ones that may already exist in the urinary tract.

Key Benefits:

  • Urinary Tract Health: Helps reduce struvite and calcium oxalate stones recurrence
  • Low protein: Results in an increased urine volume and more dilute urine
  • pH Levels: Helps control urine pH levels to the ideal level
  • Antioxidants: Supports your cat’s immune system and work to neutralise harmful free radicals

My cat has suffered severe urinary tract syndrome problems since quite young, constant cystitis & tract blockages made his life unbearable and precarious at times. After a life saving operation when he was 4 years old we tried diet as a long -term additional treatment. We tried a few with limited success but it wasn't until he was 6 that we found this one. Since then he has never suffered a repeat attack. I thoroughly recommend it and importantly my cat really enjoys the taste!
