The idea behind this harness seems good but the built quality just isn't good enough. It's nice that the front metal clip attaches to a collar so the dog can't slip out of it. But the whole clip is easily pulled off centre if it's its D ring is used during the walk. What's more, the plastic strap adjustment bits aren't holding the straps tight enough so over the course of the walk the whole harness loosens (and my dog is only 7kg so not even that strong) and needs adjusting before the next one. I was determined to make it work so eventually I sewed some straps shut. However, the final straw came recently when the collar clip rusted and/or the spring inside went and the opening mechanism became very stiff and almost impossible to use. It's barely been three months since I bought it and now I'm ready to chuck it. You get what you pay for I guess.

WHILST I THINK THIS IS OK FOR OLDER OR SMALLER DOGS IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK ON MY 12 MONTH OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD - WHEN SHE PULLS THE FRONT RING JUST TWISTS AROUND . THINK I'LL PUT THIS IN THE DRAWER TILL SHE`S OLDER AND STICK TO THE HALTI FACE HARNESS - WHICH IS BRILLIANT
