Very pleased to find a supply of this item in 'beef' and that it was delivered so promptly.
Joey had a urine infection so I bought this and he loved it - so did the my other kitty Tabitha.
My cat Bailey has been on this food since he was about 1 year old and he is now 11. At the age of 1 he became very ill and had to spend a few days at the vets as he had blood in his urine caused by the crystal build up. The vets recommended that I use Royal Canin Urinary as it would reduce the amount of crystals and hopefully reduce the risk of him getting ill again. After about 6 months I decided to try him back on normal cat food and I very quickly noticed a change in his behaviour and he seemed to be getting uncomfortable when going to the toilet. I therefore put him back on the Royal Canin sachets and he quickly returned to his playful self. I would recommend having the Royal Canin wet sachets as well as the Royal Canin Urinary dry food. I say this because for a long time I fed my cat the wet sachets only and the condition of his teeth deteriorated. I was recommended to feed him some dry food as this would help to look after his teeth. I thought only having 2 flavours of the wet food would make my cat become fed up with them but he hasn't, he loves his food and both flavours!
We used this food for about a year after our cats first bout of cystitis without recurrence. We changed him back to a normal brand diet after that and within a few months we were back at the vet with him again!! He's now been on it for a few years, healthy, slim and urinary-symptom free!
One of the few urinary meat pouches that does different flavours, and my cat likes them both. He's not had any problems since being on this food either!
