Our grown Rottweiler is absolutely nuts about these balls. Unfortunately, the squeaker in these are no match for her, BUT we have discovered that these balls fit into the tennis ball throwing arm PERFECTLY and due to their weight are able to go MUCH farther than the regular tennis balls that come with the arm. The combination has turned out to be excellent and we are able to take home a very tired puppy from the park every time.
Sadly the squeak didn't last as long as I expected, dog managed to break it in less than a day! Currently have a squeezz stick, and it's still going, squeak and all since December! Might try a large one to see if it's a bit better, maybe the medium was a bit too easy to chew. Overall I'd recommend it though, it's super bouncy and pretty durable rubber! Great toy, just a shame about the squeak :)
Do not buy this ball for its squeak. Within 3 minutes of playing fetch with this ball she had managed to dislodge the squeaker. But apart from that she loves to play fetch with it and can be left to chew it without destroying it. Kong should forget about the squeaker part of this toy. Our dog loves toys that squeak but so far she has managed to de-squeak every toy we have bought for her.
When I saw this ball I thought that it wouldn't last the day , but I was wrong it lasted 3 days and although it gave my girl a lot of fun during that time , it is an awful lot to pay for 72 hours pleasure ! Shame cos the basic idea is a good one but the ball is so easily seperated , its not that she chewed it , the ball simply came apart . very dissapointing for my dog and VERY annoying for my pocket !!!!!
