Description

VetUK Probiotic Fibre for Dogs is a probiotic powder supplement containing twice the amount of the active probiotic: E. faecium (E1707) 2x1010 CFU/kg: 2x107 CFU/g, than the market leader.

Containing both soluble and insoluble fibres, VetUK Probiotic Fibre promotes a wide range of health enhancing benefits and helps aid normal digestive function in dogs.

Key Benefits:

  • Soluble Fibre - Dissolves in water and tends to slow the movement of your dogs food, allowing important nutrients to be steadily absorbed
  • Insoluble Fibre - Doesn't dissolve in the gut and can absorb water and add bulk to the stool. This helps promote regular bowel movements, reducing constipation and helping to control diarrhoea by absorbing excess water inside the colon.
  • Probiotics - Beneficial micro organisms that promote a wide range of health enhancing functions. They keep bad bacteria at bay and may also help to aid digestion, absorb nutrients from food and contribute to a healthy immune function.
  • Prebiotics - Non digestible carbohydrates which act by promoting the growth and activity of probiotics.

Recommended Administration:
Give 1 scoop per 10kg of body weight.
The whole amount can be given with the morning feed, or alternatively can be split between their daily feeds.

Ingredients
Oat Bran, Dried Alfalfa, Beet Pulp, Wheat Bran, Flaxseed, Chicory Root Powder.

So much better than the branded version. This is powder and I mix it into the small amount of wet food, which I then mix in with my dogs' kibble - and they eat it. They pick out the branded pellets from their food and leave them all over the floor :-(

An absolutely brilliant and effective product. My dog is unfortunately plagued with gastro problems with no rhyme nor reason. We’ve spent a fortune having to give her ProMax to settle her tummy/bowels whenever she’s had a bout. However, fingers crossed, since using this (literally 1 scoop per day) we haven’t had any upsets at all and perfect poohs 🙂 Thank you vet UK for an affordable and great product

Hi, can you help me please. I have just started to use your probiotic fibre for my dogs. I noticed this product includes oat bran. My dogs are fed on weight control food containing oats 55% brown rice, chicken meal, peas, Seaweed and minerals. 1)Will this probiotic fibre still be ok to use despite them already having oats in their main meals.? 2)can you tell me the calories content per each spoonful please.? I have four dogs, all of them have been on the weight reduction product As above for years. They do seem to love probiotic fibre. And I would like to give a review when I have heard from you, many thanks. From lynnelicence@me.com

Disappointed with powder form, would prefer pellets as in other brands. Adding a spot of water makes a rather messy red liquid. The dog has no complaints with the taste though.

Really good value for money, VetUK brand is much better than other market brands, as its powder it is easier to mix in. My two fussy chiuahuas love it !! highly recommended!!
