I couldn't wait to try this on my Australian Shepherd, as he usually runs away when I try to comb him. Not this time! He loved being combed with the rake and in five minutes I had enough undercoat to stuff a cushion! It doesn't tangle in the long Aussie hairs, it gets out all the loose bits of undercoat and is brilliant. I would recommend this most highly.
