Adaptil is a copy of the comforting pheromone released by a bitch to reassure and clam her puppies. It has been proven to help dogs and puppies with learning, training and socialisation; it helps puppies or adult dogs settle in new homes and during challenging situations such as staying in kennels, during fireworks, a visit to the vet and Christmas.

The Adaptil Collar is easy to use, once warmed by your dog the collar diffusions the pheromones into the air. The Adaptil Collar must be in close contact with the dog’s skin at all times, there are two sizes: puppy/small dogs (fits neck up to 37.5xm) and medium/large dogs (fits neck up to 62.5cm). Each collar lasts upto 4 weeks and can be replaced as required.

The Adaptil Diffuser is a main operated unit plug-in unit which bathes your home in a synthetic copy of the ‘canine appeasing pheromone’, a natural product proven to comfort both puppies and adult dogs. The diffuser covers an area of 50-70m2 and placed in the room where the dog spends most of its time; each vial lasting up to 4 weeks. Adaptil Refills can be purchased and replaced as required, upto 5 refills may be used before replacing the Diffuser unit.

Adaptil Spray can be sprayed directly on to bedding, inside crates, indoor kennels or in the car. Spray 8 to 10 pumps of the Adaptil spray 15 minutes prior to expected effects and before the dog is introduced; the effects should last approximately 2-3 hours, although each animal will respond differently. Adaptil Spray should never be directly sprayed on animals or near an animal’s face.
