This will not last long, one of my cats my big boy absolutely loves it and the way he goes at it it won’t be in one piece for long. He loves toys but I have never seen him go so mad over something before. Well worth the buy.
Excellent value and service ,very pleased thank you
Have bought lots of these from Vet UK, our cats absolutely love them! We like the addition of the bag of cat nip which we remove for them to use at another time. The smell is still here which makes them take an interest to begin with and then all three use. Great price means that you don't mind changing regularly but has lasted up to 6 months in the summer
I bought this item in great hope to teach my cat not to scratch my rugs. He sniffed it and then looked at me then he poked it with the side of his head putting "a stamp" on it, it had been accepted. That was all the interest the scratcher got from my cat. Even I tried to show him by scratching it myself, my cat did understand what I meant as he started to scratch my rug right away when he saw what I did. And even I tried to show him with his paws gently rubbing the scratcher, he ignores it totally. It is too small the cat to stand on it and scratch at same time and too narrow to him to even try to lay on it and my cat is small of his size. I though had hilarious moments when trying to teach him to use it, and now after a month or two I think I have been using the scratcher more than my cat has even looked at it. :)
My three cats all like using this scratcher, and as I strategically placed it in between areas of wallpaper and carpet that they were destroying, I'm pleased to say that it saves wear on my furnishings too. They rake their claws on it, recline on it, get stoned on it (a small packet of catnip comes with the scratcher). It's easy to clean and recyclable. And VetUK has the most competitive price that I have seen for this item.
I bought this for my three cats not expecting all that much out of it but all three of them really like it. Not so sure about the bag of dried catnip it comes with; that just falls through the product onto the floor and my cats do not seem to care for dried catnip anyway. The cats like to sit on it (one at a time - it's only big enough for one cat!) and scratch away, meaning it stays still whilst they scratch. Will definitely buy again although it could do without the catnip.
