I have been pleased with Royal Canin Renal pouches. My dog really enjoys his meals.

My 17 year old Parsons Terrier has renal failure and had been showing a dislike to many of the renal diets I have tried. I had tried so many different brands and types of wet food (Rinti, Integra all flavours, Hills KD, Purina and even Royal Canin Renal Tins). All she quickly became offended by with the exception of Royal Canin Pouches (150g), so when I found out Royal Canin were changing the recipe, I was seriously concerned and thought it would be back to home prepared diets. She has now been on the new Royal Canin renal pouches (100g sachets) for over a month and has never had such a great appetite apart from when on home prepared meals. Absolutely loves the food and it is so nice to see her enjoy her meals again with such excitement. Her confidence has also greatly improved and I think the old food made her feel off colour and consequently reluctant to go out for walks etc. I prefer the smaller pouches as I feed little and often (although I might not if I had a large dog!) and like the fact the gravy is not quite so slippery or runny (helps if you are hiding tablets in the food). My dog obviously very much likes the flavour which is a huge relief - well done Royal Canin! With regard to VetUK, after using a different supplier for some months who always take 5-7 days to deliver, I am really impressed with the speed of delivery and pleased you sell this product at a competitive price. Thank you!

Fantastic product although expensive. Our 15 yr old jrt Sharon got fed up of the tins, but loves the pouches. It's good to see her enjoying food again.
