Metrobactin

Metrobactin Tablets are used for the treatment of infections of the urogenital tract, oral cavity, throat and skin caused by obligate anaerobic bacteria susceptible to metronidazole. They can also be used to treat gastrointestinal tract infections caused by Giardia spp. and Clostridia spp.

Metrobactin is presented as round, convex tablets that are light brown with brown spots. There is a cross shaped break line on one side so that they can be broken into 2 or 4 equal parts.
