Follow-up Review - it works Our fat cat cas lost over 2kg since changing to this food. He doesn't go hungry so doesn't pester for food any more. Our vets are very pleased with his progress and he hasn't broken their scales recently.

My younger cat has weight problems and our vet suggested Hills Metabolic which we used for a while. Unfortunately the cat who doesn't need to lose weight liked it better than the cat who does, so we saw little improvement. They've both always liked Royal Canin so when I saw this product I decided to give it a trial. They both love it and it has brought a new harmony to feline mealtimes - they eat their own and don't try to steal from each other. They have only been on it for about a month so I'm still waiting to see whether fatso loses any weight.

One of my two cats needs to loose some weight. This product is enjoyed by both cats and has helped get their digestion sorted. I am very pleased with this product. Will comment on weight loss another time !

Henry was overweight so we swapped to Light. Over the past few months, he's lost 5 pounds and become much more active, going out hunting with his friend Reg for hours at a time. It's really done the trick and he seems to like it too.

We had Merlin a British Blue on Science Plan diet food for about a year with no change to his weight, but just one month in on Royal Canin Light he has started to drop weight, he looks healthier, runs about more and has started playing with his toys again - I have ordered a big bag.

One of my cats is a fatso who constantly begs for food, and using this product has at last result in some weight loss - down to 6.5kg from 7.3. The vet says he still has some way to go but I am very happy how this product seems to be helping after years of obesity.
