VetUK Veterinary Diet Feline Renal Health is a dietary food for adult cats with insufficient kidney function.
Containing high levels of vitamin D3 and easily absorbable calcium, the food helps to promote the absorption of calcium and minimise the risk of renal dystrophy by reducing phosphorus levels.
The food also assists in regulating the water and electrolyte balance in the body to remove unusable metabolites, while additional K-citrate reduces the risk of calcium oxalate formations (kidney stones) in the kidneys.
VetUK Veterinary Diet Renal Health should be gradually mixed in with your cat's current food in increasing amounts and it is advised that the food should be used for a maximum of 6 months.
