More and more people are travelling with their pets, holidays, visiting family and now with the rise in hotels accepting traveling pets, not many of us think twice about taking our pet with us on a short trip.

Having taken our family cat camping for many years, I know how much enjoyment can be had when you take your furry friend with you, but what would happen if there was a emergency with your pet and you needed a Vet Clinic quickly? Do you think in advance and make sure you know the location of the nearest animal hospital, or at least have the local Emergency Vet telephone number? If you're anything like me, then the answer is, No!

This is why we developed the V-E-T app, this FREE Vet iPhone app, uses the GPS in your phone to locate your position, it then searches through our database of over 5500 UK Vets to locate the nearest Vet Clinics, to your vicinity. You then choose from the selection of Vet Clinics provided the one you require, it will then display the Telephone number and address. We advise you to call the Vet first and make sure the Clinic is open and check the address details before you set off. Then select Directions which automatically opens the satellite navigation function of your phone, this directs you right to the door of the Vet clinic, using a map display which constantly pinpoints your current position, plus displaying written directions too so you will never get lost.

So now you can go on holiday or visit family, safe in the knowledge that wherever you are in the UK you can always find a local Vet.
