VetPoints Conditions


These terms and conditions are additional to and should be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions of use of VetUK Ltd.

1. General
1.1 The VetPoints Scheme is promoted by Vet UK Limited. Anyone who registers their details on our website and agrees to these terms and conditions can join the VetPoints Scheme (the Scheme).
1.2 We can take any action we consider appropriate if we have reason to believe that you are abusing the Scheme, including withholding points previously credited to your VetPoints account (Your Account).
1.3 VetUK can cancel, suspend or withdraw the Scheme at any time.
1.4 We can change the terms & conditions of the Scheme at any time. We'll always give notice of changes. We'll include a notice on the website of any changes to the terms and conditions for the Scheme.

2. Data Protection
2.1 We will send all members of the Scheme our weekly newsletter containing special offers, discounts and information about VetUK.
2.2 If you do not wish to continue to receive our newsletter you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of each newsletter.
2.3 For information on how we use your personal details please read our privacy policy.

3. Collecting VetPoints
3.1 You will receive points on all Products purchased from our website at the rate notified from time to time on our website.  The number of points issued may vary between qualifying purchases and we will post on our website details of any promotions that apply to VetPoints from time to time.
3.2 You must join the Scheme at the time of purchase of your Products.  We cannot retrospectively add VetPoints to Your Account for purchases made before the date on which you joined the Scheme.
3.3 VetPoints are only available on the value of the Products purchased by you and not on the low value order surcharge or posting and packaging charges.

4. Spending VetPoints
4.1 VetPoints have a cash value on our website which can only be used as part or full payment for Products purchased from our website. We will not exchange VetPoints for cash.
4.2 You can spend your VetPoints when you have accrued 1000 points with a value of £2.50. VetPoints can only be spent in multiples of £2.50.
4.3 You can use your VetPoints to pay the whole or part of the purchase price for the Products that you wish to purchase. The VetPoints that you use will be deducted from the total on Your Account.
4.4 You won't qualify for VetPoints on Products which you pay for with VetPoints.
4.5 To spend your VetPoints please tick the box on the checkout page that asks if you wish to spend your Vet Points and select from the drop down box the value of the VetPoints you wish to spend. The total value of VetPoints spent will be deducted from Your Account.
4.6 If the total price of the Products after deducting your VetPoints is less than £15 then the low value order surcharge will apply to your order. Please see point 4.11 of our terms and conditions of use for further details on the low order surcharge.
4.7 We may from time to time allow you to spend your VetPoints on goods or services provided by third parties.  We will provide you with details of this through our website.  The VetPoints that you spend with the third party supplier will be deducted from the total on Your Account. 

5. Returning Products
5.1 If you decide to return Products on which you received VetPoints when you purchased then we will deduct from Your Account the VetPoints that you collected when you bought the Products.
5.2 If you decide to return Products which you bought in whole or in part with VetPoints, we will re-credit Your Account with the appropriate number of VetPoints and provide you with a refund of any amount paid by you by credit or debit card.
