I bought this as two of my cats have terrible stomach problems and struggle to hold down a lot of their food. I have tried so many brands , but this is the only one I have found that doesn't make them sick or give them the runs. I tried the royal canin sensitive stomach and several sensitive stomach types but this is the only one that works. Although it is not marketed for sensitive stomachs , it works really well. I can't comment if it if it makes them calmer but they really like it , and I really like the fact it doesn't make them sick.
