Choose a mild shampoo for your puppy and avoid medicated shampoos unless required. Your puppy may well have scale in the coat for several weeks which is normal for many dogs, use a shampoo rich in essential oils to moisturise the coat. Shampooing your puppy will also make its coat much easier to groom.
