I have to agree that this product does as it says. My friend tried all different chew deterrents and none of them worked and she wishes she had tried this one. I'm off to buy some more. You do have to re-apply for it to work.

By far the very best chew deterrent we have tried. Our 10 mth old Lab puppy is a chewer, and ONLY this spray will stop him from destroying door frames.

Excellent product for preventing chewing of wood, bedding etc. You need to spray generously and regularly but works better than many of the other available products. I use it a lot as I kennel dogs and it's a great behavioural correction spray alongside verbal correction - a little persistence and it re-trains inappropriate behaviour quickly. This was originally recommended to me by a very well known pet behavioural psychologist and is worth every penny. The spray can also be used as a coat conditioner and adds a lovely shine.
