Metacam Oral Suspension for CATS 15ml. Each ml contains 0.5 mg meloxicam as active ingredient (equivalent to 0.017 mg per drop) and 1.5 mg sodium benzoate (equivalent to 0.05 mg per drop).

My 12-yr-old moggie has arthritis in her lower back and her knees, and so was prescribed metacam by the vet. I drizzle the required dose over her dry cat food and she consumes it with no problem. I'm happy with this medication and happier still that VetUK can supply it more cheaply than our vet practice.

Our cat has been on Metacam for nearly a year now. It has been very effective in relieving his arthritis and giving him a new lease of life. It has also not caused any noticeable side effects. Vetuk offers this product significantly cheaper than my vets and dealing with them has been straightforward and their deliveries have been prompt.
