Product Advantages: Brushing Effect, mechanical action on dental plaque and tartar. During chewing, the texture, structure and shape of Royal Canin Oral Bar have an abrasive effect on dental plaque and tartar. Tartar Control: Action on calcium. Sodium tripolyphosphate is a calcium-chelating agent, so calcium ions (Ca++) becomes unavailable for tartar formation. Bacteria Control: Action that helps limit bad breath. Bad breath occurs as a result of the presence of Volatile Sulphur Compounds (V.S.C.) produced by bacteria.
Oral Bars should be given whole, once daily in between meals in order to maximise its efficacy on dental plaque.
