Description

Royal Canin Dental Dry Food for Cats is a nutritionally balanced veterinary diet for cats that will limit the development of dental plaque and tartar, and reduce associated bad breath.

Specially formulated with a patented blend of enzymes that will promote optimal oral hygiene and improve the condition of your cat’s teeth, Royal Canin Dental Vet Diet encourages your cat to bite and chew the abrasive kibble, and contains Pentasodium triphosphate to bind salivary calcium and make it unavailable for tartar formation.

Key Benefits:

  • Tartar Control: Pentasodium Triphosphate traps calcium in saliva, making it unavailable for tartar formation
  • Special Kibble: The kibble’s shape, texture and size produce a mechanical brushing effect on your dog’s teeth
  • Digestive Security: Highly digestible proteins, prebiotics, sugar beet pulp, rice and fish oil, ensure maximum digestive security
  • Hairball Regulator: Psyllium and Dietary Fibres facilitate hairball elimination

Fantastic teeth - Fred had to have a dental clean some years ago, and was showing signs of plaque build up again, since he's had some of this every day though his teeth are in fantastic condition. At a recent check up the vet said they were the best he'd seen in a cat this age (13)

Our cat is now over 20 with no dental problems. She has had some of this every day for the last 10 years. The one type of food she will always eat.

We have been very pleased with the Royal Canin Feline dry biscuits which not only do our two cats enjoy but it keeps their teeth clean thereby saving us a lot of money on vet bills.

This dry food works like no other! I have 2 Maine Coons and both have always had funky breath. One of them has even had to have various teeth removed due to infections and decay on 2(!) occasions. Since I started giving them this food neither has bad breath and their teeth look great. I use the dog/cat dental wipes I bought off this website in addition to this dry food. Works much better than Hills dental diet or Royal Canin Maine Coon kibble! Will keep buying this food for sure!

I tried this on my cat after he had to have a tooth removed and had gingivitis. The kibbles are quite big and you would think that they wouldn't be able to eat them but they manage fine and they are obviously meant to be large to help with the cleaning of the teeth. When I looked into finding a dry food when my cat first had problems with his teeth many of the complaints I read about the available foods were that the kibbles weren't big enough to achieve anything, but I certainly think these require some crunching and appear to be doing the job for my cat. I would defiantly recommend and Bob the cat loves them! If your cat needs to watch his weight you just have to make sure you weigh them out ….. due to the kibble size you don’t get many per meal!
