Cosequin RS is a quality veterinary glucosamine and chondroitin mix.

It is recommended that you follow an initial six week administration loading program; after which the number of capsules can be reduced gradually by 1/2 to 1 capsule at a time to achieve a maintenance level for your pet.

Allow several weeks for beneficial effects to be seen thereafter dose daily on the maintenance dosage.

Cosequin RS administration: Initial 6 week period - 5-10 kg 2 daily.

Each Cosequin RS capsule contains Glusosamine HCl 250mg, Sodium Chondroitin Sulphate 200mg, Manganese Sulphate 3.2mg.

I consider this the Rolls-Royce supplement for arthritis. Our Lab has been a new dog since she started on this 3 years ago (now 9) and eats the large tablet up like a sweetie in her normal kibble. Expensive but worth it to save on painkillers and the like - and priceless to keep her comfortable!

I bought this hoping it would help my elderly dog. But sprinkle capsules...? What a palaver. The dog has (mainly) dry kibbles supplemented by a bit of chicken or fish. He didn't take to the powder stuff at all. I switched to EaseFlex (which he just loves) and threw the rest of the Cosequin out. I think that says it all.

Absolutely superb product. Turned my dog's back leg arthritis right round, even at the age of 13. Well worth it if you love your pet and want the best for them!
