I am more than impressed with this dog food. I read all reviews, and thought I would try it for Pepe, he hurt his leg. His weight has reduced a lot, he runs around now and seems happier. He eats it all. Ordering more now to continue feeding. Thank you vet uk great food!

My 15yr old Jack Russell Terrier has eaten this excellent product for a good few years now on the advice of my veterinary surgeon as she was getting a little too heavy. Its a wonderful product that allowed her to lose the weight that she initially required & is now keeping her 'desired weight' nice and stable. I often wish it was available in another flavour but Millie doesn't seem to mind at all & 'woofs' it down every time. I always buy this product, and other items/products, from VetUK because they can't be beaten on price/service or speed of delivery.

I was reluctant to use this food initially when my vet recommended it and I have always been of the view of feeding good quality chicken/lamb and rice based foods only. However, Dudley the spinone had started getting very chunky and given the fact he has a heart condition, the vet got tough with us and told us we would not have him for more than a year given his current health unless we do something about it. That telling off worked and we got the first bag. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and Dudley took to it well. In his first year he went from a shocking 54kg back to 40kgs and the difference was unbelievable. He has now put on a couple of kilos at the vets advice and proudly stands at 42kg. We now use the food as a maintenance diet so he doesn't get to big again. Would highly recommend to anyone who has doubts or concerns.

We are so impressed with this food. My Lab was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both elbows last year and the vet advised that she would need to have this food to help get her weight down so as to put less stress on her joints. I had been trying (forever!) to get Poppy's weight down but to no avail.I am happy to say she has lost 8KG since starting on the Hills R/D diet & her enegy levels have improved. I honestly had tried everything prior to this in an effort to help Poppy to lose weight.I'm so relieved.Poppy is my World & I just want the best for her. She can't have any other food or treats but I take her daily treats out of her daily allowance of food. Thank you for such a great product, I can't thank you enough. I'd like to mention that Poppy also has Seraquin tablets from you for her joints and these have helped her immensely. A very big thank you. xxx

Having successfully used the Hills R/D Canine Diet wet and dry food to reduced our senior Labrador to her target weight, we have continued to serve these as her normal biscuits. Her weight has remained stable and as she enjoys them, there is no waste at all.
