Flea infestations used to be a problem confined to the summer months. However, due to the use of central heating, flea infestations are now a year round problem.

In an average infestation, adult fleas only represent around 5% of a total flea population. Flea pupae account for 10%; fleas in the larval stages 35%; whilst flea eggs make up 50% of the total infestation.

Fiprocat contains fipronil which has been used in the treatment and prevention of on-animal flea infestations for many years. Products contains fipronil are one of the most commonly used on-animal flea treatments in veterinary practices.
