Unlike the previous reviewer I love Effipro! I too used to use Frontline and had major problems with ticks - Frontline simply was not effective - and my vets opinion was that Frontline was excellent for fleas but "crap" for ticks. I tried Effipro after a great deal of thought and checking the active ingredient - and watched it sceptically as it was cheaper. My experience after months of use now is that Effipro prevents fleas (never had a problem) and is much more effective against ticks than Frontline. Now very few ticks actually manage to get a hold on and those that do are dead when I touch them. For me it is fantastic and better than Frontline - oh and there are no white marks on either my dogs or my cats coats as it is used for both the dogs and the cats.

Does not work as well as frontline, because this is cheaper I thought I'd give it a go, after week of first treatment my dog kept scratching and showing sings of fleas. Effipro also left white residue marks on her coat, a waste of money.
