Drontal Cat XL worming tablet contains 30mg praziquantel and 345mg pyrantel embonate for the treatment of every type of intestinal worm commonly found in UK cats.

Drontal Cat XL is effective against Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Dipylidium caninum & Taenia taeniaeformis.

Drontal Cat XL dosage: recommended dose rates are 57.5 mg/kg pyrantel embonate and 5 mg/kg praziquantel. This is equivalent to one Drontal Cat XL tablet per 6 kg bodyweight.

For single oral administration; the tablet should be given directly to your cat or if necessary can be placed in food or `easy tab` tablet pockets. Dose every three to four months.

Please note that tablets are sold individually.

I have used Milbemax previously, and the one of my cats, who is a great hunter(he delivers 3-4 mouses every day, and eat 1-2 himself, has always been underweight (approx. 2.5 kg and he is 1/2 Maine coon), but after his last treatment with Drontal, he suddenly started to gain weight, AND started to picking on his younger fellow cat(a 8 kg MainCoon) :-))) This product clearly works!!!!

I have used Drontal regularly on all my cats for years and have never had a case of worms. I used to get it from my vet but after discovering the VetUK website a few years ago I started to buy it from here at a much better price. I have two large male cats so they need the XL tablets and the new oval shape is much easier to administer.

I like how they have now changed the tablet to an oval shape. Makes it far more comfortable for the cat to swallow. Since the XL (for larger cats)it is a larger tablet, because when it was round shaped it was hard for the cat to swallow. :) Drontal is always my wormer of choice. And I am impressed with Vet UK's delivery, I ordered this on Monday and received it in the post on Wednesday! Thank you!
