I have purchased several of these and will continue to buy more. When thrown the bounce is unpredictable keeping my dog on his toes and is so far the only squeak toy that has not lost its squeak in a few hours. I have to replace them because they get lost not because they get destroyed. Apache is a large lurcher type dog and can eat a tennis ball in under 10 mins
