Cystease S 300 Feline Cystitis Glucosamine Capsules

Manufacturer: CEVA

Quantity:

Cystease S 300 Feline Cystitis Glucosamine Capsules has been formulated with the same glucosamine quantities as Cysaid but is is brought to you more cheaply than VetPlus Cystaid.

Unlike the Cystease it replaces, Cystease S does not contain alfalfa; making it virtually tasteless & odourless.

Each pot also contains 300 capsules unlike Cystaid which only contains 250. Can be fed whole or opened and sprinkled onto food.

Each tablet contains 125 mg of glucosamine, the major component of the protective lining on the inside of the bladder. It can therefore help to maintain the integrity of the bladder lining.

Stress can also have a negative influence on the protective bladder lining. It can therefore be beneficial to use Cystease S in conjunction with a Feliway a Feliway Diffuser.

Administration: 1 tablet daily for 7-14 days, reducing to one every other day for longer term use if needed.

Ingredients: N-acetyl glucosamine 125mg

If you are having doubts about the price of this product, please think again. My cat had to go to the vets so often with cystitis, the cost of his treatment was astronomical. I surfed the web and came across Cystease. I have been using it for about two years and so far all has been well. I tried using one tablet every two days (as one reviewer recommended) but found that wasn't good enough for him so put him on one a day. He had to go back to the vet with the same problem but after putting him on two tablets a day, he hasn't been back to the vet since. I open the capsules and put the powder into his breakfast and he eats the food with no bother. They must be completely free of taste and smell - he's a fussy cat normally and knows if something alien is in his food! I highly recommend this product if your cat is having the same problems.

I used this product as an alternative to Cystaid, my cat suffers from ongoing urinary tract struvite crystals, and I have found them to be taken by the cat more readily than Cystaid. He has ceased the straining that took place while he was on the Cystaid plus I am only having to give him one tablet every other day rather than once per day on Cystaid. Highly Recommended.
